One week after our visit to the ZooParc de Beauval we are once again on the trail of the animals. We left the “Val de Loire” for the “Dombes” and more particularly the “Parc des Oiseaux” of Villars-les-Dombes. This park is part of a programme to preserve biodiversity and is a paradise for all kinds of birds. The great particularity of this park [which makes it unique in Europe] is that it specialises in the presentation of birds. Only part of the park is open to visitors, the other part is preserved for wild birds. Whatever the case, the part of the park that can be visited is full of more or less well-known species. Let’s discover some of these majestic animals together.
