Hiking in Etretat

Imagine the time back millions of years ealier. Our world as we know is covered with water and small islands appear on the Earth’s surface. Over time, tectonic movements, erosion and accretion have changed the structure of our planet. The traces of this turbulent history are still very much present as these landscapes show, memory of a distant past.
During these 2 days, following the GR21, we were able to discover the vestiges of these immemorial times. A grandiose landscape that has become famous all over the world, especially the monumental arch and the 71 meter high Aiguille standing in the middle of the waves. Inspiration for many authors, these landscapes make hikers and tourists passing through the region dream in all seasons.
